Youth international Ellie Wilson agrees contract extension with City Women.
The 19-year-old joined Bristol City Women last January from Reading Women FC, where she progressed through the Academy and Development Team making her first team debut in 2014.
The defender was selected to be part of the U20 England training camp at Saint Georges Park this week before returning to the club to start preseason training ahead of the Spring Series.
"After being involved in back to back promotions with Reading and ourselves, Ellie fully deserves a crack at WSL1," said head coach Kirk.
"She is a player with fantastic athletic potential. She works hard every day at improving all aspects of her game and is enjoyable to coach.
"She gives us good options across the backline and also did well playing further forward at times last year."
Now in WSL1, Bristol City Women will open their campaign against Reading at Ashton Gate on Saturday, April 22nd (KO 6pm) before taking on Arsenal, Chelsea and current league champions Man City at the Stoke Gifford Stadium.
The Vixens will also come up against former teammates when they face Liverpool at home, with Sophie Ingle, Tash Harding and Caroline Weir now playing for the opposition.
Tickets will be available for all games online via Tickets.Bristol-Sport.co.uk shortly with season cards also on sale in the next few weeks.
