Bristol City WFC will welcome local rivals Yeovil Town to the Stoke Gifford stadium when the WSL2 kicks off on Wednesday, March 23rd.
This season marks the Vixens' first year in the relatively recently formed WSL2, which also features the likes of Aston Villa and Everton.
Willie Kirk's side will end the campaign away to Oxford United on Sunday, November 6th.
The league will take a mid-season break from May 26th until June 25th. The league’s final day for both divisions will be on Sunday, November 6th.
FA director of football participation and development, Kelly Simmons, said: “We’re set for another really exciting season in the FA WSL and the opening week’s fixtures demonstrate just that.
“Last season was a real landmark for women’s football in general. We saw record attendances and the awareness and positivity around the game really grow, and the FA WSL clubs played a huge part in this.
“It will be a big challenge to continue this momentum without the attention that a major tournament like the World Cup generates but we are confident that the supporter base and interest in the league is strong and that we’ll see even more growth in 2016.”
The FA WSL was launched in 2011 as the first semi-professional women’s football league in England, with eight teams. In 2013, a second division was added, with a further 10 teams competing in FA WSL 2.
BT Sport is the lead sponsor and broadcast partner of the FA WSL, and one of five women’s football commercial partners along with Continental Tyres, Nike, SSE and Vauxhall.
Bristol City WFC season tickets go on sale in February and will be available from the official Bristol City WFC website.
