Vixens Eager For WSL Start

This week is a busy one at the Stoke Gifford stadium, with four of BAWFC's key players from last season re-signing for 2015 in the WSL.

Dave Edmondson is delighted to announce that Loren Dykes, Mary Earps, Jas Matthews, and Frankie Brown, all significant players for the Vixens last year, have agreed to spend another season playing for BAWFC.

Loren Dykes recently returning from Welsh International camp is ready to take on the WSL in 2015. This will be Loren's sixth season at the club, after joining Bristol Academy in 2008 from Cardiff City Ladies. The senior Welsh international was a regular in Edmondson’s 2014 side, and featured in almost every match last season either as a full back or a winger.

At 21, Earps will be going into her fifth season of FA WSL football and her second season at Bristol Academy. After joining the club in March 2014, she went on to play every game for the Vixens last season.

Jas Matthews has been at BAWFC since joining the Female Football Academy at SGS College at the age of 16 and playing for the first team since 2010 and is ready to go into her fifth season in the WSL.

Scottish international Frankie Brown signs a new contract to play for the Vixens for a second year in the WSL. Frankie who has 66 caps for her country joined the club in 2014 from Hibernian.
