Robins Foundation welcome new students to education programmes

Following on from recent GCSE and A-Level results, Bristol City Robins Foundation have enrolled over 70 new students on to its education programmes.

Along with the new starters, the Robins Foundation have also re-registered all of the returning students from last year, who are preparing to embark on their final year of study at Ashton Gate and look to graduate in June 2020.

The club’s official charity will have over 200 students studying across nine education programmes this academic year, a number that continues to grow on a yearly basis as the courses go from strength to strength.

Head of Education at Bristol City Robins Foundation, Chris Stenner, commented: “It’s great to see so many students opting to study with us and take advantage of the unique and exciting opportunities at Ashton Gate as well as other sites across Bristol.

“The best part of my role is to witness our students excel in their studies and the practical elements incorporated within their respective courses.

“We ensure our students are treated like an employee, with the view that some will graduate and go on to work with us, or for a similar club or organisation where their focus is to inspire communities.

“Previous students at the Foundation have chosen to: go on and study at university, set up their own businesses and some even go out to America to study in a college while playing sport alongside their studies."

The Robins Foundation’s education courses range from post-16 to degree level, all of which provide students with the perfect opportunity to kick-start their career in the sports industry.
